The Great Yarmouth Beach Classic is the latest addition to the Volleyball England Beach Tour. Supported by Volleyball England. Until now the Tour has been based in the South where resorts such as Weymouth, Sandbanks Poole, Brighton, Exmouth and Newquay have hosted major events and good crowds. With the London Olympics on the horizon the Tour is expanding to the East coast to attract European and world players in the run up to London 2012.
To be played on Central Beach over two days attracting 100 of the top male and female players from Britain and Europe on the main show courts with supporting competitions for other players. "Come and Try" sessions for beach visitors.
This will be a major free to view spectacle for visitors to Great Yarmouth. It will attract thousands of spectators who will be thrilled by this all action sport on the beach.
